Terms of service

The short version

• The free tools and the extension are free, with no account. The paid product starts with a 14-day trial that needs no card.
• Paid plans renew until you cancel. Cancelling keeps your plan to the end of the period you paid for, and the first payment is refundable for 30 days.
• Only add websites you own or run, and tell your visitors about the tag the way the law where you operate requires.
• Scores and AI-traffic figures are measurements and estimates, not a promise of rankings, citations or traffic.

Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account, starting a trial, paying for a plan, or installing the tag or the collector, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you use CrawlRadar for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to. You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.

What CrawlRadar is

CrawlRadar measures how AI systems find a website: which AI crawlers fetch its pages, which visitors arrive from AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, and how each page scores for being read and cited. It is made of:

• The free tools on crawlradar.xyz/tools and the Chrome extension, usable without an account.
• An account, where your websites, their dashboards, monitoring and audits live.
• The tracking tag, a script you add to your pages that reports pageviews, and the collector, a package you add to your server that reports AI crawler visits.

Your account

You sign in with Google or with a link sent to your email; there is no password. Keep access to that email or Google account secure, because whoever controls it controls your CrawlRadar account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and should tell us straight away at the address below if you think someone else has used it.

The free trial

A new account gets 14 days of every feature for one website and up to 10,000 pageviews, with no card. Nothing is charged when it ends. After it ends, collecting new data pauses until you choose a plan, and what was already collected stays in your account. One trial per person or company: opening more accounts to extend it is a reason for us to close them.

Plans and billing

• Plans. Starter covers one website. Growth includes 10, with each further website at $2 a month. Both are priced by monthly pageviews, billed monthly or yearly (yearly charges for 9 months out of twelve). Current prices are on the pricing page.
• Payment. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which sells the subscription to you as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy adds any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are, and its own buyer terms cover the payment itself. We never see or store your card.
• Renewal. A plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel.
• Price changes. If a price changes, we email you at least 30 days before it applies, and it applies from your next renewal, never to a period you have already paid for.
• Failed payments. If a renewal cannot be charged, Lemon Squeezy retries it for a while. If it still fails, the plan ends and collecting new data pauses, as it does after a trial.

What counts toward your limits

Plans are measured in human pageviews recorded by the tag. Visits by AI crawlers and other bots are never counted and are unlimited on every plan. If a website goes over its plan’s monthly pageviews, or an account has more websites than its plan includes, further pageviews are not recorded until the next month or until you move to a plan that covers them. We email you when that happens. Your website keeps working either way: the tag never slows or blocks your pages.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time from Billing. There is no exit fee, and your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for. If you cancel within 30 days of your first payment, you get a full refund of it; write to us and we will arrange it through Lemon Squeezy. Later renewals are not refunded for time left in the period, except where the law where you live says otherwise. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under that law.

The websites you add, and their visitors

Only add, tag or scan-monitor websites that you own or are authorised to manage. When the tag runs on your site, you are the one deciding to measure your visitors, and we process that data on your behalf to show it back to you. That makes you responsible for telling your visitors about it, and for any consent the law where you operate requires, for example a line in your own privacy policy. What the tag collects is described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use CrawlRadar to:

• scan, monitor or send traffic at websites you have no right to test, or use it as a proxy to reach addresses you otherwise could not;
• get around rate limits, plan limits or the trial, including with multiple accounts;
• send fake or automated data to the tag or collector endpoints, or overload them;
• break into, probe or disrupt the service or other customers’ data, except through responsible disclosure to the address below;
• resell or white-label the paid service without a written agreement with us;
• do anything unlawful, or help someone else do it.

Your data

The data about your websites is yours. We use it to run CrawlRadar for you, and for nothing else: we do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or publish figures about a named website without your permission. You give us the rights we need to store and process it for that purpose. How it is handled, and how to have an account and its data deleted, is in the privacy policy.

What the numbers mean

Scores, grades, fix suggestions and AI-traffic attribution are measurements and estimates from the signals available to us, such as user agents, referrers and the HTML of a page. AI systems change how they crawl and cite without notice, and some AI traffic arrives with no signal at all. We work to make the figures accurate, but we do not promise that following our suggestions will get a page crawled, cited, ranked or visited, and you should not rely on them as your only source for a business decision.

Third-party services

Some features connect to services we do not run: Google or your email provider to sign in, Lemon Squeezy to pay, and in the extension an AI provider of your choice using your own API key. Your use of those is also governed by their terms.

Changes to CrawlRadar

The product changes as AI search does. We may add, change or remove features, and change the free tools at any time. If we remove something a paid plan relies on, we will tell you in advance, and if that leaves the plan unusable for you, you can cancel and have the unused part of the period refunded.

Availability

We aim to keep CrawlRadar available and your data intact, but it is provided without a guaranteed uptime, and there will be maintenance windows and occasional outages. The tag and the collector are built to fail silently, so an outage on our side does not break your website.

Suspension and closing an account

You can stop using CrawlRadar and delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other customers at risk, or is required to be closed by law. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we close a paid account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of the period.

Disclaimer

Apart from what these terms say, CrawlRadar is provided “as is” and “as available”, without other warranties, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, CrawlRadar is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue, traffic or data, and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if that is more. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we update this page, move the date at the top, and email account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use CrawlRadar after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can cancel before they apply.
